ICL has developed a new family of personal care products. CareMagⓇ D, CareMagⓇ B and CareMag® M are all based on natural materials from the Dead Sea. The products are 100% naturally based and approved by COSMOS, the Cosmetic Organic and Natural Standard which establishes certification requirements for cosmetic products in Europe and is the standard recognized globally by the cosmetics industry.
CareMagⓇ D is a natural, innovative and hypoallergenic alternative for deodorants with impressive malodor reduction results. More than 90% of people who tested the CareMagⓇ D deodorant ranked it as better or similar to their standard deodorant. CareMagⓇ D was not tested on animals and is registered in the INCI, the International Nomenclature for Cosmetic Ingredients.
CareMagⓇ B is an alternative for ZnO in anti-rash baby creams. Due to its source (the Dead Sea), CareMagⓇ B has superior high purity. The product has been tested for safety and efficacy with good results, and even compared to leading anti-rash creams. Its effect is immediate, resulting in faster restoration of healthy skin appearance. In addition, CareMagⓇ B has improved sensorial feeling along with lower cloth staining.
CareMag® M is aimed for cosmetic natural-based face masks. The use of CareMag® M in face mask formulations creates silky, relaxed, refreshed and clean skin with improved sensorial touch. The formulation is white with no addition of pigment, easily applied and easily removed. In addition, due to its unique physical properties, CareMag® M allows higher loading in the formulation, hence improved cleaning efficacy
Due to its chemical nature, CareMagⓇ D controls the growth of bacteria – offering a long-lasting effect on body odor reduction. In addition, CareMagⓇ D entraps a certain amount of sweat and sebum, leaving the skin dry and smooth. CareMagⓇ D allows the use of a natural based product in deodorants with no quantity limitation. This product characteristic is also beneficial for sensitive skin and for sensitive populations (since the compound does not penetrate the skin).
CareMagⓇ D answers the Antiperspirant and Deodorant (APD) industry requirements for natural, non-toxic, hypoallergenic ingredients.
CareMagⓇ D replaces Aluminum salts and antimicrobial agents. Regular antiperspirants and deodorants usually contain antimicrobial and antiperspirants active materials. Some of these active materials result in safety limitations (like Triclozan) and others are considered unfavorable by a growing number of consumers (like Aluminum salts).
Efficacy testing results (tested at a proDERM institute) indicated a decrease of more than 40% in malodor, and feedback received from 90% of customers was that a formulation based on CareMagⓇ D is “better or equivalent to their standard deodorant”.
CareMagⓇ D was awarded a bronze prize in the innovation zone, during "InCosmetic 2019".

The ICL Industrial Products team, in collaboration with their main distributor, ‘Clariant’, were one of 130 global teams that presented their innovative solutions for personal care ingredients. CareMagⓇ D was awarded the bronze prize in the innovation zone, during “InCosmetic 2019“.
