Community Engagement in Brazil

ICL Brazil supports various social activities as part of its social engagement practices. This includes donations to local schools and teaching at local elementary schools. In 2020, due to Covid 19, many of ICL’s activities were dedicated to helping local communities in their struggle against Coronavirus. \

ICL Donates Medications to Hospital in Cajati, Brazil

ICL’s Cajati plant donated much needed medication to patients at a local hospital to treat people with Covid-19. ICL donated and delivered the medication, Midazolam, to the area hospital in Cajati.

The medication was presented to Marcos Roberto de Oliveira (Emergency Care Director) and Ellen Calado (Health Director) and Lavínia Guatura (pharmacist). The hospital was extremely grateful to ICL for the donation.

Other activities:

ICL’s employees held zoom meetings with the elderly community in SãoPaulo and São José dos Campos.
In Cajati, ICL’s employees built a new community garden and renovated a local school and children’s shelter.
